Which do you think is the best performance SUV on the market? Stelvio QV, Cayenne Turbo, X5M or something else? The Urus is def too expensive.
The Cayenne Turbo would be my choice. Porsche builds a quality vehicle and consistently places high in user satisfaction surveys.
I've driven all of those. The Stelvio has reliability problems but that shouldn't be a surprise. The X5M is an extremely fast SUV, but maintenance is what you would expect for an M-series vehicle: expensive. The Cayenne is a fun SUV to drive and the turbo really flies under boost.
The thing to remember about all of those is maintenance will be expensive. Tires don't last as long, none get great MPG, insurance will be high, and so forth.
I’d also consider two Acura’s: MDX Type S and the RDX PMC edition.
I would wait for the MDX Type S since that will be a screamer (basically the SUV version of the TLX Type S), but if I had to pick between those options u mentioned, I would go Cayenne Turbo. X5M is nice, but its excessive oil consumption with the N63/S63 engines leads to roasted heads, turbos, timing chain, and valve seals. A better alternative is the BMW X3M since it's got a good s58 motor (a beefed-up B58 with an extra turbo and they are known to be pretty dependable so far). The Stelvio is a piece of Italian Junk, I would never buy one.
