| None of the above. Audis and BMWs are endless money pits as they age. The Saab is from a company that has been dead for nearly a decade and a half now, built on obsolete GM technology. | |||||

| Answer to: Accord or Camry? First time car buyer | 5Relevance | 2 years ago | TYangg | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I would personally go for the accord over the camry. The 8th-10th Gen accords were among my favorites. They had one of the best performance engines ever made in my opinion - K24 series, J35, and my favorite K20C4 (same engine found in the 10th Gen civic type r except it has a weaker turbo pushing less boost and smaller inletpipe). If you like N/A, 8th-9th gen would be far more ideal. 4-cyl or V6 is up to you. They're both great engines. | |||||

| If you want something sporty a Mazda Miata might do the trick if you don't need the back seat. The other Japanese manufacturers also make sporty vehicles, it depends on what you want and how much you want to spend. Bear in mind that most of us are in the U.S., as is Scotty, and our recommendations are based on owning those vehicles here. The situation may be different if you're in a different part of the world. Your English is fine, no worries. | |||||

| carfax is virtually meaningless since not everything is reported to them. (A flooded or wrecked car could be "repaired" in someone's back yard and carfax would be none the wiser.) It can be used however to help spot rolled back odometers. You can find Scotty's car reviews and a used car buyer's guide near the bottom of the main page and can find failure trends of various models at carcomplaints.com. Avoid Hyundais and six-cylinder Subarus if you value your wallet. Whatever used car you buy it is imperative to have it checked out by a good mechanic before purchase. | |||||

| Since that model is not sold in the U.S., at least not with a diesel engine, most of us have no experience with it. You need a good mechanic to check the car out for you before buying. | |||||
