| I'm using a 2011 Camry as my daily driver and it's been completely trouble free. However, a Camry with 400K+ miles is near its EOL and expecting further trouble free service out of a car with that high of mileage is unrealistic, whether it's a 4 banger or V6. | |||||

| @ chuchtobias AMD all but took back his criticisms of the 2010-2011 Camry following his video review. He made several "corrections' in replies to comments, which were overwhelmingly positive. I've highlighted a couple posts with his replies: The 2010-2011 U760E transmission doesn't suffer from TC shutter as some later models with the same transmission. The 2010 and 2011 Camrys have proven to be very reliable. Regardless, @neinbased shouldn't buy one with high mileage unless it has verifiable service records (oil & tranny) because of the dealer promoted and recommended 10K oil changes. | |||||

| @fjcruiser_2014 well it’s hard to get a corella where I live everyone wants them. Is it better to get a 2011 camry checked by a mechanic and said it’s all good but it has 423k mileage? | |||||

| Between these four I would go with the Mazda 3 but definitely have a trusted mechanic check it out. You didn't state your budget but you can also consider used Corolla or Civic. | |||||

| If you want something sporty a Mazda Miata might do the trick if you don't need the back seat. The other Japanese manufacturers also make sporty vehicles, it depends on what you want and how much you want to spend. Bear in mind that most of us are in the U.S., as is Scotty, and our recommendations are based on owning those vehicles here. The situation may be different if you're in a different part of the world. | I would personally go for the accord over the camry. The 8th-10th Gen accords were among my favorites. They had one of the best performance engines ever made in my opinion - K24 series, J35, and my favorite K20C4 (same engine found in the 10th Gen civic type r except it has a weaker turbo pushing less boost and smaller inletpipe). If you like N/A, 8th-9th gen would be far more ideal. 4-cyl or V6 is up to you. They're both great engines. | |||||
