| 2008 Ford Taurus "Bumping Vent" | 17Relevance | 5 years ago | pgrogan | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I got a 2008 Ford Taurus with 128k miles and automatic transmission. Whenever I first turn on the heat or air conditioning, the front passenger's side vent makes a bumping sound for a couple seconds and then goes away. I've learned to live with it over the years and have not had any problems with airflow or air circulation. I think there might be a door or flap of some kind inside the vent that keeps getting stuck when I first turn the system on. Any ideas? | |||||

| Love this new website, It seems to work a lot better then the maven. Anyways, 2001 ford Taurus 30k miles (yes really) What does it mean when tires lose a good amount of air overnight, Is it just crappy tires? It also been swinging between hot and cold weather here in western NY so maybe that's it | |||||

| @ambush What is it with the Taurus that is bad though? I have seen them with 300,000 miles But I suppose then that Toyota would be the best, the Avalon sedans are good? Attachment : Av.jpg | |||||

| Hi, I know Im not Scotty but from a reliability stand point, a Ford Taurus will only frustrate you in the long run. Now Scotty did a video on the Ford 500 which they made a limited amount of but I am not sure about the seating you are looking for. Other than that, Toyota or Honda would be the best bet. I have 4 Toyotas, 1 Honda, and 1 Hyundai (Genesis). No issues with any of them. I hope this helps. -Ambush | |||||
