| OEM sensor or aftermarket? Check to see if any wiring was accidentally damaged. Insulation can get brittle in 17 years, maybe some wiring got moved around and is shorting out. It's hard to imagine anything else that installing a new water pump would do to affect that sensor. | |||||

| I replaced camshaft position sensor still doing the same thing. This happen directly after I put a new water pump on it. Before installing the new water pump the the truck would start up just fine. | |||||

| Well actually the engine some stuff so usually okay but obviously the idiot that rebuilt the engine did horrendous job because of diesel engine should last a lot longer than that. But really I'm not a fan of any GM products and certainly a lot of the guys that work on their stuff are pretty shoddy mechanics too | |||||

| my main issue with a 5.7 is that they drink quite a bit of gas, and i do alot of highway miles, i figured it'd be more economical for me to get an LBZ or an LLY to make things a little lighter on the wallet (i tow and haul things with my truck, so i use it to directly make money so something like a car isn't an option) | |||||
