02 ford explorer 200,000 miles needs intake manifold. have put a band-aid with high temp sealant at site of anti-freeze leak causing #5 plug misfire but it is time to replace. Have not yet made decision on OEM from dealer 380 bucks vs aftermarket ranging 220-280. any and all opinions welcome, solid running vehicle transmission rebuilt 20 thousand miles ago. leaning for cheaper but can be talked out of it,… have a good day.
I have had to address this a couple of times, If you search the people that do the swap go o.e.m. ford if your going to keep the vehicle. you will have a lot less trouble. the fit is right. the dorman manifolds have screws for the coils that are cheap and may cause you trouble. You got it. Ford had a class action law suite over the manifolds. They had to replace the years in question on them, But the time has run out unfortunately. Now we pay

well that figures, i was able to catch the end of the ford edge brake booster bulletin on a 2010 three months ago.
