Hello, lately i have been having an issue on the highway. When i reach about 60 MPH i start to get hesitation and then i cant get it above 2000 RPM's and i slowly lose speed. Any reason why this might be happening? Also, one day i tried to hit the gas to get it out of this hesitation and the check engine light started to blink. It comes on and off every 2 weeks like a cycle.

It may be a clogged fuel filter or a weak fuel pump.
Scan the car for any codes & see what you get.

It seems your fuel system is kind a clogged or fuel pump is weak. Change the fuel filter and then pressure test the fuel pump.

scan the computer for trouble codes and that should provide some clues.
