Hey Scotty, I’ve got a 05 Explorer Sport Trac 4.0L RWD automatic 187k miles (tranny has 130k) that has a long start issue. It seems to surface more in cold weather. I’ve used fuel injector cleaner, replaced the fuel pump thinking it was a check valve, and the IAC valve and it still persists. If I press the gas it’ll start right up but if left alone it’ll sometimes putter out. It hasn’t failed to start on me yet but I’m concerned this could be the start of something more significant. Advice?

On top of everyone else's professional advice, I would recommend replacing the fuel filter. Wouldn't hurt, might help. It may be clogged up and limiting flow after a few years.
