Why does my truck rear end bump when accelerating

Hey scotty

i have a 05 Ford F-150 xl, automatic, 4.6 v-8 with 150,000. When I start to accelerate there is a bump that comes from the rear of the truck. If I accelerate slowly I do not feel it. If I accelerate normal I do feel it. It will not happens in first gear. Like I said it only happens when I first start driving. I have no idea. Please help.

Check your rear drive shaft u joints for slop.
