2005 Mazda Miata Base, 124k miles
When I push in the clutch quickly while accelerating, even at very slow speed, I hear 1 to 2 clunking or pinging sounds. Also a similar clunk letting out the clutch quickly when changing gears.

Either your throw out bearing or pressure plate or both are worn out.
