05 Toyota Sequoia SR5 with 160K miles

I was doing an oil change this past week which I do every 4k miles and decided to check the coolant and other fluids. The coolant was down about 2 quarts from the last time I checked it several months ago and so I got a bit concerned. I immediately added the premixed Asian pink fluid and added a bit to the reservoir.

Being that coolant is a closed system should I be concerned? What Should I be on the lookout for? I checked for leaks but haven't seen anything when the truck is turned off and on, so not sure what's been happening?

Thanks!

Pressure test the cooling system to see if there is any leak. Also, change the radiator cap with an OEM. Was the truck overheated before? I would try a gasket kit as well.

I'll get the cooling system pressure tested and replace the radiator cap. The truck has never overheated.

Thanks

It's either leaking or burning.  Better find out which one soon.  Check the bottom of the water pump for a slow leak and all hose connections.

I'll check for leaks and let you know.

Thank you
