3.8l automatic 80k miles purchased new never went into shop besides for tires brakes and oil change recently the abs/traction control light come on randomly while driving straight not while turning and when it comes on it stays on for about 30 minutes I checked the codes with a launch x431 and while driving when light was on the front right speed sensor randomly said 0 mph so I changed the speed sensor it comes build into the hub and checked the connectors they are not corroded or in bad shape and it still comes on my mechanic here in Israel gave up do you have any idea what I need to check
I think what has to happen here is you’re gonna have to hook up the scanner again and remove each tire. Check the wiring going into each sensor wiggle it and see if you get any fluctuation on the scanner. There should be another wire in protected plastic covering, do the same for that wire as well and see if you get any changes. You can even disconnect the harness and reconnect it again. Look at the wiring harness contacts and see if any are flawed, burnt, etc
