Replacing 2,4 band .06 Escape 3.0 liter automatic. Do I loosen all 4 motor mounts? Or do I just loosen the mount against firewall, mount behind front bumper, along with mount inside against driverside fender? 06 ford escape with 351,000 mi. Thanks. BB

If yours has a CD4E transmission then you don't have to remove the transmission to replace the 2-4 band

Would you just change one band, and leave all the other old parts in there?
Pretty much. There's an O ring on the pump which should also be replaced before putting it back on.
The OEM 2-4 band costs around $40. A couple of bucks for the O ring

The top and left transmission mounts have to be removed so the transmission can be lowered just enough for clearance on that side but still, it's a lot easier than pulling out the transmission
