06 Mustang GT O2 sensors

I bought it a few months ago and over time have been restoring it. Changing all fluids, plugs, suspension work and so forth. While looking at the live data, I noticed that the rear o2 sensors were showing consistent numbers but the ones in the front were jumping around. So I went to my local Ford dealer and got some new ones to see if that would solve the issue but still getting the same readings.  Could bad data from the MAF sensor cause this? Trying not to buy a OEM one if I can avoid it lol

What is the issue exactly? What you are describing about the 02 sensors is how they should behave.

Well, … front A/F sensor always fluctuates because it gets a signal from the back O2 sensor, … and the message every time is not how much - precisely - fuel to subtract, or add, … but simply add more, or cut more. Hence fluctuation, … thats how system works. It’s a close loop system.

Thanks. Good to know this moving forward. Also glad those o2 sensors weren't expensive since they probably didn't need to be replaced.
