I have an 06 silverado with a 6.0 and 4l80 with 170k miles on it. It's in fantastic physical shape but the engine is starting to feel just a little tired. I've rebuilt old V8 in the past. Is it worth it to pull the 6.0 and freshen it up or should I just start looking for a newer truck. Not looking forward to all the high tech that goes into trucks these days :/

Cost lots of money. Maybe your best bet is to swap the engine if you like to keep the truck.
