when you cold start it cranks normally then you hear the engine fire u then it sounds like you are baby reving it for a sec then starts strong. whats its problem.( it is fall here in illinois)

What RPM's is it idiling at? Mileage? Sounds like you may need to clean the throttle body. Easy to do on that truck.

when i took it to a shop they said i needed a cat and a new throttle bodies and news supention and air bag supention

I notced that the truck temp is never whare is suposted to be. the the cat make it run cooler? it hhas muffler and resonator delete
