I recently bought an 07 Camry from a salvage auction with the 2azfe engine. Is toyota still responsible for replacing the pistons if it starts burning oil? The damage is on the driver's side of the car.

Check out the Bulletins link below and go to Toyota< Various Models, you can find it there. I believe its out of the extended warranty period.

That campaign ended. It covered 10 yrs since first put in service or 150k.
