Hey Scotty, my car started making a popping noise while accelerating, and was told it was the right front axel. I didn't fix it right away, and now that I replaced the old part (severely damaged). The car is continuing to make the same noise. Is there something else i could have damaged?

Did you replace it or have a shop do it? The retaining ring that goes in the transaxle has to catch or the axle will move back and forth. Same with the axle nut. Was it torqued back on correctly?
