I have 08 Escape XLT 4X with Auto Trans. and a one owner. It has new Struts and rear Shocks and has 75K miles. There is no visible damage underneath, but over bumps it's like it has no suspension at all and sounds like it bottoms out both front and rear. I've checked Sway Bar and connectors which are good, Any ideals would be Appreciated.
Depends which kinds of struts and shocks were put on sometimes the cheap ones ride worse than have an old worn out once especially if they're made in China dude check for any broken parts like ball joints and control arm abortions but more often than not it's crappy shocks and struts
New Gabriel struts and KYB rear shocks, nothing found worn or broken.
Kyb just like most brands has different levels of quality. They have an economy line all the way up to race ready. Who installed these parts? Where the strut mounts replaced at same time?
Did someone put a lowering kit on this car.
