08 Mercury Grand Marquis dies while driving

I have an 08 Mercury Grand Marquis LS. Yesterday while the veh was still cold, it started to die while driving & then all by itself it continued to run, it did this twice, later in the day after driving for 45 min at highway speeds, it did the same thing, like someone just for a second turned off the ignition & then turned it right back on before it died. Any idea what it could be? The car 103,000 miles on it, I bought it used last year with 92k on it, have only changed the oil 4 times since buying it, have no idea if anything else was done on it in the past. Again, it seems like when I'm driving it, it felt like someone turned off the ignition & then immediately turned it back on before the engine completely stopped/died. No check engine light on, no other problems. Thanks for the help.

Check the fuel filter and the air filter to make sure neither are clogged up. I would also check your spark plugs since you are over 100k miles and see what they look like.
