My 2008 Toyota Highlander has 162,000 miles on it. When I had it into the dealer for an oil change the Service Advisor told me I was way overdue for an Transmission fluid flush and change. I have had this car since 2012 and the dealer has never suggested a Transmission fluid change. A mechanic friend told me that if I have never changed the fluid it should not be changed with over 150000 miles on it because the new fluid would damage the transmission. Any ideas?
