2009 Honda Accord exl 4 cylinder automatic. 134000 miles. Car makes a screech on startup . Sound is loudest on a cold start and quiets down after starting when engine is warm. What’s that sound?

It's your belt slipping and it screeches on startup because your alternator is trying very hard to recharge your battery because it just discharged into the starter.
So you could be looking any one of, or all three of these problems:
- belt or tensioner is worn out
- battery is worn out
- alternator is worn out
