I enjoy your Utube series. My question is...
My 2009 Honda CRV Ivtec sounds like a diesel engine. Honda dealership says it's normal. had it checked by specialty Honda shop, they say it's no big deal and that these engines sound like diesels and clack when running. It runs fine and gets great gas mileage. But it is loud. I maintain it well. Probably overkill on changing oil, filters, tune ups, that stuff. It's just noisy. Should it be? Do or should I use an oil additive and if so, what kind?

Live with it. Make sure your valves are adjusted to proper specifications -
intake - .008 - .010"
exhaust - .011 - .013"
