Hey Scotty,I have an 09 Mazda 3 with the 2.0l and 210,221 miles on it, I recently bought the blue driver because I could finally afford an ok scanner I wanted to read the airbag light instead it gave me this code U2064 idk what that means but it's suggesting a new tcm, would that be affecting the airbag light? It's just very strange my check engine light or anything else isn't on just the airbag light and nothing came up for airbag.
Well if modules go bad off in the codes are swirly because the modules ultimately report codes and if they're not working right they can do crazy stuff
A DTC code that starts with U means it's a communication problem. Your computer is telling you it has trouble communicating with the airbag(s). The airbag itself might be fine, but if it has trouble communicating with the computer, there could be an electrical or module problem somewhere. Be careful on the road as they might not pop out if you crash. I suggest to get it diagnosed to make sure the circuit is not the problem, then it means it's the module that needs to be replaced.
