09 toyota venza heated seats quit

my 09 toyota venza (150,000km canada) heated seats both quit at the same time. Both switches and lights on the switches seem to be working. I know this from learning that if the element is gone/broken, the light on the switch will not come on...again..both my lights are on. THESE ARE FACTORY HEATED SEATS, not aftermarket.

one thing to note.... i replaced my battery in the summertime, i wonder if removing the battery post may have done something to the main ECM and made the seats not work as it wasnt until the fall that i needed the heated seats and then realized they were not working. Is there a way to reset the ECM if battery posts were removed? i dont recall which post i removed 1st.

Ive tested fuses etc. done some testing with continuity tester as well ...to no avail

Don't really have an answer for you.

If it's a logic lock problem, try removing the 2 battery cables and connect them for a couple minutes to clear the adaptive memory. Reconnect the battery cables, turn the key to the run position, wait a minute then restart the vehicle.
