Hi guys. I have an 09 VW Golf 1.6Tdi with 135500 miles that refuses to start without jump leads being used or a hill start!
I have put battery on an overnight charge, but to no avail.
I have had a man whom specialises in alternators to check the alternator and he said it was fine.
What are your thoughts and advice please?

Starter may be dying.
