Hey scotty I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to buy this used 1983 Mercedes benz 300d from a small car lot, the outside is in almost perfect condition but ive yet to ask them about it. Wanting an opinion first before going there

They were very well-built cars in their day. However that day was 40 years ago and at this point you may be walking into a minefield, particularly buying from a used car dealer.
