Car: 1986 Honda Civic Si Hatchback, 266K miles, 5 speed manual.
Hi Scotty,
At cold start, it idles high as usual, but after warming up, the idle goes up and down, then, settle at about 1000 rpm. I did replaced the thermostat and filled the radiator per shop manual, using the coolant bleeding valve. I read somewhere it's the fast idle? Thanks for your help.

Change the idle control valve.

It is most likely the idle air control valve. Cheap fix.
