Hi Everyone! So I've got a 1987 Buick Park Ave. 168k miles. So the car runs great but does die on me, I'm thinking that i need a fuel pressure regulator & or fuel injectors? I just had the radiator replaced & now that the pressure is normal in the car it is leaking by the water pump which I also just put in. A guy thinks that it could be my freeze plug, what do you guys think? I've been trying to find out what's behind the water pump,? but no luck. It leaks alot of antifreeze. It hasn't been driven around for a while cause of the antifreeze leak & it dying on me whenever it decides to. Could it die just from the antifreeze leak? Also my oil smells like gas ever since my son changed the spark plugs, it's not milky. You can just smell it. I've changed the fuel filter, air filter, thermostat, battery & more. I don't have money to bring it in & pay those high prices. I really would appreciate any help I can get, it would really mean alot! 🙂 I recently found out I've got cancer & need this car to get to my kemo apt's. Here's how to find your coolant leak and to check for a blown head gasket, which may be the cause of both the coolant leak and the stalling.

Also, you might want to check with your hospital - many have volunteers (some who have chemo appointments, too) who give rides/carpool - and other kinds of support.
Thank you Glen_stet I appreciate your input on the car. I just looked under it & it just looks like it's leaking from alot of places, so I will be doing that I'm praying it's not blown. If it was wouldn't I have to junk it? Cause I really don't wanta have to do that. I've put so much time, money & effort into it. I truly believe the car is worth it or I wouldn't have done so much. I just have to know before I spend more money I don't have on it! I also wanted to say thank you about the info for the car pooling ect.. I will be looking into that too. I think I may just have bad luck cause when I went under the car I saw a bunch of dark gray greenish goo on my front axle 🙁 My dad did put a new rack & pinion & tie rods on it in 2017 or 2018. I wish I was rich then I would just bring it in if I couldn't fix it myself & then I'd be able to help out my family that needs help & be able to help out others as well.
