Scotty I bought this car as a non runner project. I rebuilt the engine completely and nearly everything is brand new. Car runs and drives fine but has a couple of nagging issues:

-Car fires and then dies almost immediately. If I stay on the starter it will do this a couple of times and then catch and run. Has a bad MAS code on the check engine light. Once running it is a tad rich and the engine will run with the MAS connected or disconnected. MAS has voltage and ground and the voltage on the signal wire does move slightly when you increase rpms. The change is minimal but it does change. I have tried three different MAS units and replacements are over $100. I find it hard to believe the MAS would be bad given I tried three and the last was from a vehicle that I know it worked. What else could cause this? ECM issue? What would you check?
