1989 vs 2006? Which one to keep?

Evening, I have 1989 Ford Crown Victoria LTD, automatic, 142k, 5.0L And a 2006 Bmw 3.25i, automatic, 110k .

both cars are running very well, but I do have to sell one of them due to being laid off. Which one should I keep?

BMW has no oil leaks or electrical issues and Zero Rust. I know it’s gets pretty expensive to fix BMW’s.

the 89 Ford , runs great, frame is in great condition , and no rust on it.

I have the thought that old cars are easier to up keep, less technology to mess with and in my case cheaper to fix .

I would greatly appreciate your guidance on my decision. Please help!

Keep the Ford. You're gonna get nothing for it if you sell it being that old. Just drive it until the wheels fall off.

You may still get a little something out of the BMW by selling it now.

If you live in the U.S.A. keep the ford you can find parts in any junk yard or parts store. Being at the mercy of foreign markets could get really tough. Riots wuhan ect.

The Crown Vic would be much more reliable than the BMW. BMW's start to fall apart at that mileage.

Which is worth the most money? Which is the safest? Which is the most drivable? Realistically and honestly answer questions like that and the answer will be obvious.
