I am thinking of buying a 1991 Chevrolet cavalier convertible. Its a V6 manual with 85,000 miles for $2,500.
Is this going to be a reliable car or a money pit?

For $100 it could make a good stunt car. 😆
Or a lawn ornament; your neighbors will be thrilled.

They were not exactly great cars when they were new. Over 30 years later I'd say forget it, unless maybe you accidentally typed an extra zero on the end of the asking price. Most mechanics will not even work on a car that old.
