Hey scotty is a 1991 toyota celica with 200k and a sizable dent in the rear side worth 600 bucks? The owner says it runs and drives good just needs one strut

I would be more concerned about learning its history than the dent. As long as the engine and transmission have had reasonable maintenance it's a decent ride. Ask more questions of the owner before throwing money at him.

That car will keep running, although lots of things might be annoying being 29 years old. $600 for something relatively reliable that you don't mind driving is a great buy
