My corolla's steering wheel shakes a lot when i drive faster than 55 mph mainly at 60-65 mph, because any faster that im scared because of how much it shakes. The steering also feels loose at highway speeds, at lower city speeds its normal. My tires are not worn out and i already got an alignment done to it. I also sometimes hear a light clunk come from the front of my vehicle when im turning into a street at low speeds. What do you think is the problem here?
Maybe a tire balance problem made worse by worn suspension components on a 30-year-old car. I'd think that the alignment shop would have spotted bad parts but they might have missed something. The clunk would also indicate loose parts.

Yeah id agree on tire balancing problem or bent rim, im gonna have to take the hub caps off to take a look at them. My corolla also shakes when breaking to slow down from highway speeds. That probably would also have to do with suspension components.
