Scotty, I enjoy your videos. I have a 1992 Mazda SE5 2600i. It started cutting off a few minutes after start up, crank it back up, few more minutes it shuts off again, finally it would not start up. Had it towed to my mechanic, diagnosed a bad fuel pump. Pick it up and going on home from the shop it cut off, started back up and went on home, but I never got to drive it, could not get it out of the drive way, it would not stay running. It is not choking down it just dies. Carried it back to mechanic and he replaces the relay, they drove all around says its fine. The next morning trying to go to work it cuts off three times. What do you think the problem could be?
Thanks
Curtis
Well one problem Michigan was a crappy mechanic who doesn't road test things long enough I would go somewhere else and if the guy figures out what it is I would demand my money back from the first guy. Could be lots of things even back in the day those had bad computers but you can always bypass the computer to send power to the fuel pump if the fuel pump stops working because it loses power
What could the problem be? A really lousy mechanic.
