Hello everyone

A few problems I have with this wagon. When starting, the gas pedal needs to be depressed. I found nothing according to the Haynes repair manual troubleshooting chart, but after online research, there may be a fault at the throttle body.

Another issue it has is the engine sometimes stalls at stop lights or when I am driving slowly in parking lots with the A/C active. My research show it may be the IAC (or what Subaru calls it "air control valve) valve.

What do you guys think?

Thanks

Load test the battery and alternator. If they checked out, you may clean the IAC valve.

When starting, the gas pedal needs to be depressed

change the air filter. Test fuel pressure.
