I took my 1993 Jeep GC with 6 cyc engine in to get it smogged. Now intermittently it will just die at a stop light or stop sign but I can then start it up again but it takes much longer turning over before it starts like it ran out of fuel. Sometime this will happen on the freeway but then it starts back up on it's own since the engine is still turning over by the driving train being engaged. Does this sound like they messed with the fuel lines or injectors or just a coincidence and the fuel pump or something is going bad. It does have 203k miles. BUT this never happened until after the smog check. Are there things to check to make sure something is not disconnected or loose?
Under the hood, look for obvious stuff like vacuum lines disconnected, electrical connectors loose or disconnected. You'll probably find something obvious.
