I recently had the trans oil cooler hose burst. (The steel hose connection rubber hose to top mount of auto trans 4spd) lost about a full quart. Got a used one off of accord from junk yard (not cracked or corroded) filled a new quart of Honda trans fluid. It’s shifting a little rougher then before. Also 4th gear will drop RPM from about 2gs at HW speeds down to about 1700-1800. No weird noises, knocks, slips, grinds etc. But definitely a noticeable difference from before. Any pointers?
Well if it burst while you're driving the transmission would have run low on fluid and it could have obviously damaged some internal parts of the transmission I would just live with it just make sure your transmission has the exact amount of fluid in it now not too low or not too high
