Driving car gently at around 50mph . Car stopped running . Car wouldn't restart .This vintage is famous for bad opti spark from what I have read. Removed opti spark cover, the rotor was is in about 6 pieces looks like the  opti bearing siezed.I  have installed 3 new opti spark ditributers the last 2 were from autozone lifetime gurentee. I have read most of the after market opti sparks are no good they are all made in China even GM. The car still isn't getting any spark.Installed new coil ,new control module.Plugs and wires only year old. I checked grounds cleaned and reinstalled.Wondering if the PCM might be the problem ?

Yeah, unfortunately even most GM OEM stuff seems to be "Hecho en China" these days. I recently bought an AC/Delco air conditioner drier hoping it would be decent quality but it's Chinese. (Since there are no moving or electrical parts it may - hopefully - be OK.) Our moderator @justin-shepherd has had a run-in with "kwality" OEM GM parts, he had to go through 3 brake master cylinders to get a good one for his old Pontiac.

This forum has some information on diagnosing the Optispark:

It includes a link to the following detailed diagnostic page:

Obviously that car is pre-OBD2. You can look for OBD1 codes. If you have access to a Tech2 scan tool  that might help in troubleshooting the problem.
