I bought a 1995 pontiac grand prix 6 months ago for $1400 and it has been a good winter beater so far. I replaced the front brake hoses because they were rotted but other than that it has been reliable. Are these good cars in your experience? What should I look out for on these 90s grand prixs. Mine has the 3100 v6 engine

Well, it's hard to go wrong with a running and driving car for $1400. I can't imagine parts are too expensive, so if you can do most of the service and repairs, it should be just fine for a beater. But I woldn't spend a lot to keep it going.

Nope!

And don't spend less than $5k if you want a "good car" from this millennium

They were OK in 1995.
