Hi I have a 1995 Lexus LS 400 with 159,045 miles on it I bought it when it had 139,000 on it hadn’t really drove it till last year to this year is it good to put after market parts in and also what would you recommend on what I can do to keep it running perfectly the person who had it before me didn’t really give it the love and attention it needed so now I’m dealing with all the problems the previous owner didn’t care to addressed

I always thought the LS400 was one of the best designed cars when they came out.  Now, the new ones look like a car with a cow catcher bolted to the front.  I would read the owner's manual and start by doing all the fluid and filter chores to get a starting point.  After market parts are OK for some things, plugs, pcv valve filter, etc., but some need to be OEM.
