Hello Everybody

I'm thinking about getting a 1995 Toyota Celica for $1600 to replace my 2005 Ford Focus with 193,000. It has 168,000 miles and is automatic. Has some minor cosmetic damage and as far as I know, no mechanical issues. I'm going to check it out tomorrow and wanted to see what I should keep my eyes out for any common problems this car has.

Thanks

With a car that age, you really need a qualified mechanic to inspect it before purchase. It is hard to say what some things are condition-wise without hooking up a good scan tool. For example, compression, fuel trims, etc.
