Hi. My friend has a 1997 acura integra, the last spark plug on the right of a 4 cylinder the top part broke off and the bottom part is still inside where the plug goes but it is stripped, how can it be removed to insert a new spark plug. Please help. I have a picture but not sure how to put it here.

Spark plug came out, thank you so much to all of you.

I have a picture but not sure how to put it here.

that can be found in the forum instructions, conveniently placed at the TOP of the main page

It's a really obscure name "Read this first". Easy to miss I know.

It is hard to turn it,

Use a long breaker bar

Use the correct size 6 point socket, not a 12 point, if you have one.

If the threads are stripped where the plug is installed in the cylinder head, you have a major problem on your hands.  Go to imgur.com, load the picture, copy the url and paste it in your next post on this thread, not a new one.

I can't see anything but a blur. I don't know where it broke or what's left of it.

You need to tap to focus on the part you're taking a photo of.

Bottom line...  if there's still hexagonal flats on the plug then it should come out normally with a socket and a little added effort. If it's stripped then the damage is already done. Just get it out and fix the thread.

you need to use the "direct link" like we explain in the instructions. Like this ....

Judging from the photo, the spark plug base is still threaded into the head and should be easily unscrewed and removed.  What makes you think it's stripped? (as in stripped threads).  It looks like the insulator broke off and you will have to reach down and use thin needle nose pliers or a strong magnet to pull the base of the plug out.

The hexagon are a bit rounded. The 5/8 is making them round

It is hard to turn it, it is almost seized. Any other recommendations will help.
