when I drive above 60 mph my truck begins to vibrate/ shake but my steering doesn't seem to be affected by it. what could it be?

Well if it's not the steering wheel then generally it's either the back wheels are out of balance or tires are out of round or rims are bend in the back or you have a transmission or drive shaft joint problem where that starts to wobble at that speed in the entire vehicle will shake
