Hi Scotty I had a question about my 97 jaguar XJ6L that my grandfather gave to me three years ago well I went on a trip to Colorado for 45 days but before I went on that trip I locked the car everything was working as normal the car could run everything was working normally well for a Jag normal And when I get home I just said I want to drive it again so I get my key is or you drive up to the place I have it stored it try to unlock the car with the key fob nothing I go to put my key in the door only the door unlocked which all four of them should unlock and usually when that when you open the door when the alarm is set the alarm will go off that didn’t happen I also didn’t get the interior door lights to come on or the chime when the doors open then when I go To put the key in the ignition and turn it over nothing happens no clicking of any kind no crank the gauges work the shifter is locked so you can’t put it into drive or neutral or anything it’s stuck in park the battery seems to be OK because everything else is working like the windows and stuff like that but I’ve tried to jumpstart the car several times And it’s still not turning over can you help me I’m about to pull my hair out I’m surprised I have any hair left it all on in this thing for four years thanks Scotty love your videos

I believe it lost sync with the ignition key n needs to be reprogrammed, the car thinks it's being stolen basically.
