There is a 1997 Toyota Avalon I am looking at with a v6 automatic transmission with 161,000 miles on it new tires and ac works. They are asking 1,700. Is this a good deal?

Remember 23 years old. If owner can prove a good service history and its not rotted, snap it!

If there is proof it has been maintaned and a mechanic says it is in good shape mechanically, get it. They are really good cars, just remember it is 24 years old so expect to put some money in to it as time goes on.
