I have a 1998 Ford Ranger V6 4.0 liter that I want to replace the pushrods on. In what I can find the procedure is to remove the valve covers, remove the lifters and change the pushrods. Seems simple enough but has anyone done this? Any tips or insight to give?

No it's not that complex of a job but if you're replacing the push rods I wonder why more often it's the hydraulic lifters that go bad
