Why is the battery going dead? I drive my car once a week. My first 2 years of owning the car, it never had battery drain.

Alternator was changed, battery was changed, but my battery is still going dead. When I unplug the negative terminal though when I park it, the battery does not lose its charge.

What is the most likely cause of the drain? Is there a separate regulator that needs to be changed outside of the alternator?

All the best,

Kevin

You probably have a dead short somewhere.  See Scotty's video on Parasitic Drain.
