I drove it recently to Tenessee had no problems came back to SC battery exploded on interstate got it towed to a mechanic. They said too much power was going to battery. Now it doesnt start. They said it might be the ECM alternator or crank shaft sensor. Im not sure which one it might be. Bought a ecm from a junkyard it started but had to keep my foot on the gas. Need to fix it ASAP. Can anyone recommend things to try to see whats wrong? All fuses seem to look good.
It could be the ecm alternator. It is better if you bought a brand new one because a junk yard one is used and you don't know what's on it.
Theres some on Ebay do you recommend buying a plug and play "new" one or send my old ecm in and getting it repaired and updated
Don't get it repaired/updated. You would need a specialty mechanic for that. Just buy a brand new ecm and hope that fixes the problem.
