Hey guys, was wondering if anyone could tell me why my car jerks and makes a thud sound one second after putting it in reverse, just started today.

Sounds like something to do with the transmission. Do you have any codes?
Does it move in reverse, normally? When was the time you changed the transmission fluid?

Never, has 116,971 miles. Last thing I did to transmission was put AT-205 reseal in it and yes it moves in reverse. Transmission fluid is clean and full

Just keep driving it. If it does finally go out, look for a low mileage junkyard transmission.
