Scotty, why did you always promote the 1st gen tundra as being so overbuilt and being able to tow a lot and never break, but you never said anything about the 2nd gen tundra's. Are the 2008 tundra's also good because you said any tundra built by people in Indiana was good and he 2008 was still being built in Indiana. So do you think the 2nd gens are as good as the first gens or is the quality worse?

The newer ones are also good but avoid first years of generatons because they tend to have some kinks that weren't figured out.

IMO the quality was just as good. I think he mostly mentions 1st Gens because that's what most people are looking at used because they are the cheapest Tundras out there.

did you see the video of the tundra towing 292,000 pounds. I saw it and could not believe it.

I did. I'm a huge fan of Tundras so I liked it. Stout trucks for sure.

why does it look like the first gens are smaller, when the dimensions are exactly the same as the 2nd gens?

@end that doesn't really mean anything though sure its cool but same deal with the f-150 pulling a train

Personally I like the 1st gen Tundras better but the 2nd gen Tundras are also excellent solid Trucks. You can't go wrong either way.
